Ms. Cornejo is an associate at the Northern California office of La Follette Johnson, where her practice focuses on representing hospitals, physicians and other health care providers in professional liability lawsuits.

Ms. Cornejo began working in the legal field in 2007. She started as an administrative assistant and after demonstrating an aptitude for the law was quickly promoted to paralegal. After several years assisting attorneys, she decided to pursue a law degree. Ms. Cornejo continued to work full-time through law school and obtained her Juris Doctorate from Lincoln Law School in Sacramento. She joined LJDFA in 2020 and brings with her extensive experience in various areas of law including civil litigation, trust and estate litigation, and administrative litigation relating to healthcare law.

A native of Sacramento, she graduated from St. Francis High School and obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and Art from St. Mary’s College of California in the East Bay.

During her free time, she enjoys trying new, local eateries and hosting friends and family at home. She spends most of her time in the kitchen concocting various dishes.
