Ms. Gupta joined La Follette Johnson in 2025.  She brings more than 20 years of experience representing hospitals, medical groups, and health plans in general litigation, medical malpractice, arbitration and mediation, provider and vendor contracts and negotiations, reimbursement disputes, and healthcare privacy.  Having served as both in-house and defense counsel, she offers clients a unique and comprehensive perspective, providing strategic and practical guidance to help them achieve their legal and business objectives.

Ms. Gupta earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Anthropology from the University of California, Riverside, in 1994.  She went on to receive a Master of Health Administration from Loma Linda University in 1997, and a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, in 2003.  She is admitted to practice before all state courts in the State of California. 

A Southern California native, Ms. Gupta enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially exploring the region’s diverse cuisine and culinary offerings.  She also enjoys visiting local farmers markets, where she can often be found sampling seasonal fruits, produce and artisanal coffee.
