Joshua Moon is an Associate at La Follette Johnson, where his practice bridges the intersection of litigation defense and business advisory services. He represents physicians, medical groups, and healthcare institutions in complex professional liability and medical malpractice cases while also contributing to the firm’s growing Business Services Division.

Joshua’s legal work is grounded in a dual perspective: the precision of a trial lawyer and the strategic mindset of an entrepreneur. Prior to practicing law, he founded and managed ventures in the fashion and beauty industries, where he oversaw brand collaborations, product launches, international licensing, and commercial negotiations. These experiences gave him firsthand insight into the challenges of building and scaling businesses, from structuring partnerships to navigating global markets. He brings this perspective into his legal practice, ensuring that his counsel is not only technically sound but also commercially practical.

At La Follette Johnson, Joshua’s role includes guiding businesses through formation, governance, compliance, and risk management. He advises startups on structuring and protecting their ventures, assists established companies with operational contracts and IP issues, and supports entrepreneurs in aligning their legal strategy with long-term growth. His cross-industry experience—spanning healthcare, fashion, cosmetics, and international trade—allows him to identify creative solutions for clients operating in fast-changing markets.

Joshua earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He is fluent in Korean, leveraging his cross-cultural background to assist clients with international matters and diverse commercial relationships.

Whether defending a healthcare professional in high-stakes litigation or helping an entrepreneur launch a new venture, Joshua is committed to a human-first, relationship-driven approach. He prioritizes clarity, strategy, and long-term partnership in every matter he handles.

Outside of practice, Joshua enjoys traveling, cinema, and experiencing culture through food and language.
