Sienna Sweiven is an associate in the Northern California office of La Follette Johnson where her practice focuses on representing hospitals and other healthcare professionals in medical malpractice lawsuits.

As a Sacramento native, Ms. Sweiven earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Sacramento State, and her Juris Doctor from Lincoln Law School of Sacramento. While attending law school, Ms. Sweiven demonstrated exceptional commitment by working full-time in the legal field and maintaining internships. She gained valuable experience working in a family law firm as well as the Office of the Attorney General. During this time, she also interned with the Health Quality Enforcement Section at the Office of the Attorney General, where she developed an interest in healthcare related legal matters. Ms. Sweiven has a comprehensive legal background in civil litigation, administrative law, family law, and criminal writs and appeals.

Ms. Sweiven’s diverse legal experience has equipped her with a strong understanding of complex case management, client advocacy, and the intricacies of litigation. She brings a balanced blend of analytical precision and practical insight to her work, ensuring her clients receive both compassionate representation and strategic legal counsel. Outside of her practice, Ms. Sweiven enjoys riding horses, reading, traveling, and spending time with her loved ones.
