Ms. Rodriguez joined La Follette Johnson’s Sacramento office as an associate in 2022 where her practice focuses on representing health care professionals and hospitals in medical malpractice lawsuits.

In 2015, Ms. Rodriguez received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola Marymount University where she majored in communication studies and minored in Spanish.

After graduation, she committed to one year of national domestic service in Boston, MA, through AmeriCorps’ program City Year. Once the program ended, she moved to Sacramento where she worked in an immigration law office, and later decided to pursue a career as an attorney.

Ms. Rodriguez received her Juris Doctorate degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2021. While in law school, she was on a wellness task force, the Vice President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, and the Community Outreach Chair for La Raza. Additionally, Ms. Rodriguez studied abroad where she took courses on international criminal law, and humanitarian law. During her time abroad, she also externed for the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative in London.

Ms. Rodriguez was born and raised in the Central Valley. While she has lived in various parts of California, Sacramento is the place she loves most. On her free time, Ms. Rodriguez enjoys reading and writing, attending concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
