Joshua Hopps joined the Orange County office as an associate in 2021. His practice focuses on the defense of hospitals, doctors and pharmacists in medical malpractice claims, as well as general liability. He received his bachelor’s degree from University of California Riverside in Neuroscience with an emphasis on Neuropharmacology. Mr. Hopps received his Juris Doctorate degree from University of La Verne College of Law with an emphasis on intellectual property and taxation. Prior to joining LJDFA, he worked as an appellate attorney drafting briefs for the appellate courts.

Mr. Hopps was born in Anaheim and currently lives in Orange County. Outside of work, Mr. Hopps is an artist who enjoys photography, painting, mixed media, cinematography, poetry and screenwriting. His artistic idols are David Lynch, Tim Burton, and Francis Bacon. He also enjoys marital arts, weightlifting, fishing, hiking, and browsing art galleries.
